Spring Weather in the Triangle Room

Although the weather outside last week in St. Louis did not feel like spring weather, we enjoyed having fun in the Triangle Room learning more about spring weather.

While discussing wind, the students made predictions about which objects could be moved with air.

painting clouds with shaving cream and white paint-
we loved the texture created with this mixture!

One of the art choices during free time was a rainbow collage made with tissue paper squares.

It makes me happy to see the students choosing to spend time in the writing center during free choice time!

Water, pitchers, and eye droppers in the sensory table were great fun.

Umbrellas decorated with assorted art materials surrounded by rain created with blue paint and Q tips.

Our dramatic play area was a market this week.

Watercolor paint is always a popular choice during table time.

We enjoyed moving around the room like raindrops to the sounds of rain playing on a CD.
